Cookie Policy

Last updated 21 June 2026

This policy explains how yourbakery.ie uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar browser storage (such as localStorage) for the same purposes. Together we refer to these as “cookies” below.

2. Your consent

We do not set any analytics or other non-essential cookies until you choose “Accept all” on our cookie banner. If you choose “Essential only”, only the cookies needed to run the service are used. Your choice itself is remembered in your browser's localStorage (under the key yb_cookie_consent), not in a cookie, so we do not need consent to remember your preference.

3. The cookies we use

Essential — required for the platform to work. This includes a secure, httpOnly session cookie that keeps you signed in (set when you log in) and protects the security of your session. These are always on because the service cannot function without them.

Analytics — set only after you accept, these help us understand how the service is used so we can improve it. If you do not accept, they are not set.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

4. Managing your choice

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser, which makes the consent banner appear again so you can choose afresh. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though essential cookies are needed for sign-in to work.

5. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above shows when it last changed. For more on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy. Questions? Email support@yourbakery.ie.
